October 11th 2009- DataNucleus Access Platform 1.1.6 ("Rutherford") is released. DataNucleus Access Platform provides persistence and retrieval of Java objects to/from a wide range of datastores including RDBMS, db4o, LDAP, XML, Excel, ODF and BigTable. Version 1.1.6 includes the following changes over 1.1.5

• Bug fix to PersistenceManager proxy in multithreaded environments
• Bug fix to interface mapping strategy "xcalia"
• LDAP : Add support for enums
• RDBMS : Bug fix to instanceof when handling possible subclasses
• RDBMS : Bug fix to detection of discriminator when handling superclasses
